Women's Fastpitch Softball Association
The Women's Fastpitch Softball Association (WFSA), a division of the National Adult Baseball Association, is recognized as an adult alternative to women's slow pitch softball. The goal is to have a nationally based league of cities playing softball under a common set of rules, with emphasis on competition and fun. WFSA provides organized softball nationwide to adult women of all ages and abilities and is organized into groups categorized by age and experience level, where necessary. Currently there are leagues existing or forming in numerous states including Colorado, Louisiana, Idaho, Alabama, Georgia, Texas, California, Nevada, Florida, Hawaii, Washington D.C., and Wisconsin. |
WFSA Alexandria
WFSA Alexandria is proud to announce its inaugural season starting Summer 2014. Centered in Alexandria, La, our goal is to provide women in all of central Louisiana, 18 and up, with the opportunity to once again get on the field and play the game we all grew up loving, fastpitch softball. The WFSA provides this experience with an even playing field under a set composition of rules. Ex-high school, college or any other experience levels are welcome. With all of our games being played on the weekend, we are open to career oriented women, the stay at home mom, and all the other women out there who crave something other than slow pitch softball tournaments. If you are interested in getting on the softball field once again, fill out the initial sign up form. If you have any more questions join us at one of our informational meetings or find our contact info above. |
